Hi,
My PERM application was denied recently and I am on my 7th yr extension which will be expiring FEB 2010. Reason for denial was the photocopy of the newspaper AD that DOL received is missing some words in the Newspaper name portion. My lawyer will be filing for an appeal.... My question is, should I be worried regarding having my H1B being extended?

I'm going to guess that the same folks in the Tea Party screaming about the deficit will somehow find this breaking news to be irrelevant. Of course, they also think the sky's the limit when it comes to spending on immigration enforcement. So much for being consistent. I'm in France until Sunday and blogging from my iPad. I used to fedex EAD and AP applications etc to this Augustine Road address before. After introducing lock boxes, they changes the fedex address too.I am planning to submit AC21. Do i need send to Lewisville address? Any experience in this regards is highly appreciated. Thanks for taking time to read.

My friend H1B is expiring this month end but she has valid EAD wth her.When we are planning to use EAD from H1B,what is the procedure for that?Do we have to send any forms to INS for this change of status??

Yes, as long as the new job is same/similar to job B. The 180 days count is number of calendar days i-485 is pending, not number of days on the job. One may not even be working at all during that 180 days, or even while waiting for i-485 approval however, must have a very good excuse because IOs will be very suspicious. It is not violating any rules though as i-485 is for future employment.

Hi,
I am currently building a application in silverlight 3 where i do a search for a you tube video and it returns me with a set of videos. I then play the video by embedding the flash player with a HTML-Placeholder in silverlight 3.
Problem:
I want to determine the end of the flash file and call a c# function (which will play the next video). I don't know how to archive this.
Any Help with this is greatly appreciated.

Got LUD on I-485 one month after EAD/AP approval. What could this mean?

Microsoft XNA is a popular framework applied with C# that is being used to create quality games. My thesis group decided to use the said framework for our thesis which required us to develop a game. The game automatically logs the actions that the players perform while playing. The data that will be gathered is to be used for our research which is mainly about player modeling. It would really help us in our thesis if you'd play the game. Thank you!

I was trying to find out if one can transfer from b1/b2 visa category to H1- B visa within the valid period of stay(i.e before the expiry of the I-94).
Go out of the country and come back in H1 status, provided you have a valid H1-B. (Can go to Canada also). Otherwise, too many hassles. (non-immigrant vs immigrant intent)
