Hi
In my 485 application receipt my first name is not listing fully. MY EAd is also has the same name.DMV is not accepting the EAD card.instead of 16 letters in my first name it shows only first 6 lettters.
How can I change the first name in my 485 application.My 131 is also pending.

I would have to agree that the colouring is really nice in the first picture. However, I've always been big fan of sepia toned b&w photographs. It's pretty easy to find some good actions for Photoshop, and then you can play around with it from there. I think the faded edge would look really good with the sepia. (really works with an aged photo)

Hello guys,
If the employer is not willing to share your I-140 approval status with you, is there a way to find out this information from other sources?
I currently have my 485 & AP numbers but do not have I-140 number to track on the USCIS website.
Thanks for help in advance.
post the employer name and address so that other people will be careful working for him and also if employer comes to know about IV, he will stop these kind of things

Suppose I am employed in H-1b with employer �X� for position �A�. Employer �X� filed my Labor Certification and I-140 for a future position �B� and got both approved. Position �A� and position �B� have at least 50% different job duties.
I file my I-485 and it is pending for more than 180 days. I get a better offer from employer �Y�. Now, I want to transfer my H1-B to employer �Y� using AC21 portability rule. My job description with employer �Y� should be similar to position �A� or position �B�?

Who would be better to handle a complex GC case Murthy or Rajiv's office.

Does USCIS usually says this. i assume it should say "AP approved " or something similar. Have anyone seen this message on tracking your online case status.

I recently applied for a PAN Card. Got a DD through my parents in India and sent the form. Today they sent a mail with following --
1) We are yet to receive payment for application.- Kindly e-mail Cheque /DD no. and date on which amount has been debited from your account
2) Photograph provided is not proper for scanning.
Have any one faced similar problem ? A valid DD was included and they say they did not receive the payment ?? Also, the photo was of right size and clear enough so I am not sure what else to do.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

By chance, I was browsing the USCIS homepage when I came across guidelines for the change of address form. It says that not changing your address within 10 days is a criminal misdemeanor. Does anyone know when this law was passed?
